Meg Ryan | Meg Ryan Hair

Like the 1939 version of the film, which was based on a play written by Clare Booth Luce, the film focuses on a woman, Mary, and his mischievous friends who, upon discovering her husband has an affair, alternately happy and friendly. In the original film, the high society women were usually met for lunch at Park Avenue restaurants and spa. In the 2008 version of "The Women", directed by Diane English, women are more modern and have careers in fashion - film making films in the most inspiring of 2008.

Look for clothing that is offered in this film to take off in real life. Whether the look preppy east coast of Meg Ryan character, the character striking stye Eva Mendes, the nervous look impetuous character Jada Pinkett Smith or the bohemian style of Debra Messing's character sure to find some inspiration from the fashion in film Women.

The costume designer for "The Women" in the 2008 version is John A. Dunn. He has worked on films such as "I'm Not There", "Fast Track", and others. The premise of both films is almost the same and like the 1939 version in black and white "The Women" which had a sequence of colors at a fashion show, the 2008 version features a fashion show as well. Those who enjoyed the 1939 George Cukor film should enjoy the 2008 version as well.
